At Continued, we have built a team of dedicated, passionate individuals who keep excellence at the forefront of all we do.
In order to recognize team members who go above and beyond to exemplify our core values, we introduced an excellence awards program to highlight these individuals who help us thrive as an organization.
Excellence awards are given on a quarterly basis through a peer-nominated process.
Recipients are recognized based on project achievements, innovations, system improvements, morale-building, and going above and beyond.
Excellence award recipients are celebrated company-wide and receive a monetary award and custom memento.
“We are excited to recognize these award recipients, who were nominated by their colleagues for dedication to the values we all hold dear,” said HR Director Asher Primrose.

ERIC BROUCEK, SENIOR FRONT END DEVELOPER
Eric Broucek joined the company three years ago as a senior front end developer.
He helps build the user interfaces and other visual components of Continued’s learning sites. From the simplest of text updates to the complex building of new customer-facing pages, he’s known for approaching every task with dedication and enthusiasm.
“I really enjoy collaborating with such a talented team, and I'm proud to be working on an application that helps people continue to learn and grow in their careers,” Broucek said.
“Eric possesses a robust technical skill set that allows him to tackle complex challenges with ease and precision. He is an invaluable asset to our company and embodies the qualities of excellence, dedication, and continuous improvement.”
BOBBI L'HUILLIER, SENIOR CONTENT WRITER
Bobbi L’Huillier joined the Simucase team in 2020. As senior content writer, she reviews and suggests updates for all written material for simulations, conferences, and presentations. Additionally, she contributes content for Simucase’s newest learning tool, Career Readiness.
She is known among her colleagues for her remarkable ability to champion and integrate change and drive innovation.
“I love what I do! I am continually motivated by working with such a brilliant team as we turn ideas into amazing products,” L’Huillier said. “The opportunity to engage with team members who are so committed to what they do and to doing it well is a daily incentive to be present and enrich our team efforts.”

She consistently goes above and beyond to identify areas for improvement and then implements and documents these changes to benefit our entire team. Amy Natho has been a part of the company since 2010, when there were fewer than 35 employees and only two learning sites—AudiologyOnline and SpeechPathology.com. She’s seen the company grow to 150+ team members and serve nearly a dozen learning areas and counting, but she says some things have remained the same.
“There are continuous threads running through this company's history that at least partially account for its success: Outstanding leadership, a strong emphasis on company culture, and smart, talented, and committed employees who unfailingly embody our core values,” Natho said.
In her role, she monitors CE requirements for the various licenses and certifications Continued members hold and ensures that courses meet those requirements and get reported to the appropriate entities. She also leads the CE admin-related testing that is involved in development projects.
She is retiring later this year and has spent the past year mentoring others to take on these responsibilities.
“What I love most about working at Continued is my amazing coworkers and getting to work with them every day,” Natho said.
“Amy is not only a highly respected team member but is also cherished by her colleagues. As a long-tenured employee, Amy is among the individuals whose contributions to our team culture are foundational in defining our core values. Her unwavering reliability and commitment to excellence are matched only by her warm and infectious personality. It's impossible to quantify her positive impact on our team's morale.”
AMBER SERMERSHEIM, LEGAL OPERATIONS MANAGER
Amber Sermersheim joined the legal team in 2023 and focuses on legal operations and efficiencies.
In her first year, she has quickly elevated the legal department to become more efficient through process development and increased automation.
“This company is a breath of fresh air,” Sermersheim said. “The transparency and communication from our leaders, the quality of the work we do and people we work with, and the true value and appreciation extended to team members is bar none. I am so honored to be a part of this company.”
