At Continued, we have built a team of dedicated, passionate individuals who keep excellence at the forefront of all we do.
In order to recognize team members who go above and beyond to exemplify our core values, we introduced an excellence awards program to highlight these individuals who help us thrive as an organization.
Excellence awards are given on a quarterly basis through a peer-nominated process.
Recipients are recognized based on project achievements, innovations, system improvements, morale-building, and going above and beyond.
Excellence award recipients are celebrated company-wide and receive a monetary award and custom memento.
“We are excited to recognize these award recipients, who were nominated by their colleagues for dedication to the values we all hold dear,” said HR Director Asher Primrose.

AMY ALEXANDER, ACCOUNTING MANAGER
Amy Alexander joined LaCalle Group—parent company of Continued and Simucase—in 2022 and is responsible for overseeing sales taxes, payroll, and treasury.
She is known among her colleagues for her proactive approach, attention to detail, and ability to drive meaningful change.
“What I love most about my job is the great work–life balance and the friendly atmosphere,” Alexander said. “I’m proud to work here because my boss recognizes my strengths and gives me opportunities to grow, which keeps me engaged and challenged.”
“Amy has proven herself to be an invaluable asset, consistently delivering exceptional results and positively influencing our team's success.”
FARZANA VELA, MANAGING EDITOR, RESPIRATORY THERAPY
Farzana Vela joined the company in 2020 to oversee one of Continued’s newer learning areas, respiratory therapy, which launched in 2021.
As managing editor, she leads editorial initiatives and content strategy, identifies emerging topic needs and research trends, collaborates with expert presenters, and ensures the course library remains dynamic and aligned with the evolving demands of the field.
“I'm proud of the ripple effect of our work,” Vela said. “When we produce a high-quality webinar, it doesn't just educate one RT—it potentially influences the care of hundreds of patients under that RT's care. We're helping to elevate the RT profession, and it is exciting to be part of this professional evolution.”
She also says Continued’s supportive atmosphere and mix of teamwork and professional development makes her work fulfilling.
“Farzana's dedication and exceptional networking and collaboration skills exemplify excellence and have made a significant impact on our organization.”
SEAN YAGER, FRONT END DEVELOPER
Sean Yager joined the company nearly four years ago and is responsible for coding new features and supporting old features for Continued’s learning content management system (LCMS).
He is known among his team for his exemplary performance and technical leadership.
“It's exciting to work in a field where the routes to overcome our problems aren't always obvious,” Yager said. “I get to think outside the box to solve complex puzzles that may not have a known solution. There's a lot of satisfaction for me when I'm able to find the right answers despite the challenge.”
“Sean has always set himself apart with his outstanding representation of our company’s core values. He’s gone above and beyond by pairing how he goes about his work with successfully leading, mentoring, and driving successful results on a number of important initiatives.”
