SpeechPathology.com, a Continued learning site, is celebrating 20 years of serving the speech-language pathology field.
Currently, SpeechPathology.com offers 500+ courses in over 30 topic areas.
SpeechPathology.com is Continued’s second-longest-running learning site. Along with founding site AudiologyOnline, it was the springboard for Continued, which today serves thousands of professionals across multiple disciplines.
“We at SpeechPathology.com are proud of our long history of providing meaningful education to the speech-language pathology profession,” said company CEO Stacy Williams, PhD. “What we offer is more than continuing education to meet licensure requirements—we offer learning that truly makes an impact in both clinical and professional outcomes.”
A speech-language pathologist by training, Williams' doctoral research was part of the foundation of SpeechPathology.com. Williams has been with SpeechPathology.com since its infancy and previously served as president of the learning site.
Founded in 2004, SpeechPathology.com has served thousands of speech-language pathologists. Over the past two decades, more than 2000 courses have been produced, and millions of CEUs have been fulfilled.
From the beginning, SpeechPathology.com has collaborated with distinguished leading experts from around the world to share the latest research, skills, tips, and cases from the field.
“Having the opportunity to partner with and learn from experts in the field of speech-language pathology is very rewarding,” said Amy Hansen, senior managing editor of SpeechPathology.com.
Throughout her 15 years with SpeechPathology.com, Hansen has been dedicated to the relevance of its courses and the relationship Continued has with its learners.
“We want our learners to feel like they matter and that their profession matters,” Hansen said.
In addition to speech-language pathology, Continued offers online continuing education and professional development in athletic training, audiology, counseling, early childhood education, massage therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, psychology, respiratory therapy, and social work.
“At Continued, we hold a steadfast commitment to providing an exceptional learning experience that enhances the lives and careers of those we serve,” Williams said. “We are proud of where we’ve been and look forward to what’s to come in the next 20 years and beyond.”
