It explores suicide assessment, an understanding of lethal means and reduction of access, and recommendations on how to refer clients to an appropriate level of care. It also reviews safety planning and risk and how to collaborate with healthcare teams to best support patient safety. Ethical considerations are addressed from a general healthcare lens.
