It provides a review of the upper airway anatomy and discusses considerations in surgery, associated stages of complications, and phases of care.

This course provides an introductory overview of psychosocial care in the intensive care setting. Topics include child and family functioning, the role of multidisciplinary team and tools to support children and families in this setting.

This course will focus on the evolution of difficult airway algorithms and the various components of evidenced based emergency airway management. Identification of current types of nasal ventilation and benefits to maintaining airway patency will be introduced for best practice management of the critical care patient.
