This course explores the foundations of transpersonal psychology, a novel and developing branch of psychology that integrates the spiritual and transcendent aspects of the human experience within the framework of modern psychology. Participants in this course will delve into the ways this humanistic and holistic approach addresses the full spectrum of human psychological experiences, human consciousness, and human potential--from healing emotional and psychological issues to facilitating profound personal growth and self-realization. By examining core concepts such as altered-states of consciousness, spiritual emergencies, and the integration of mind, body, and spirit, clinicians and mental health professionals will gain information and tools to support clients in their journey towards health, integration, self and community actualization, and ego transcendence.
