Dr. Buschbacher owns and directs PPATCHWork Children’s Therapy Services in Charlotte, NC. She is a nationally and state-certified speech-language pathologist. She holds a doctorate in Special Education, emphasizing early childhood development, ASD, and behavior disorders from the University of Cincinnati. She is an experienced and published positive behavior support (PBS) interventionist, consultant, and trainer. She has taught courses and provided numerous presentations on ASD, behavior intervention, and language development at the university, state, and national levels. Research endeavors include supporting young children with challenging behaviors, including ASD, their families, and educators.
Dr. Buschbacher’s interests and expertise include supporting children of all abilities in inclusive, developmentally appropriate environments to enhance their cognitive, communicative, social, and emotional development.
