This course is part 1 of a 2 part series. The course provides an introduction to human trafficking for social workers. Participants will learn important terminology, the different types of human trafficking, as well as the scope of the problem globally and within the United States. The workshop also focuses on how to recognize the signs and risk factors of human trafficking, and the barriers individuals face in reaching out for and accessing services.
